TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH WELCOMES “INTERIM” PASTOR
Trinity Lutheran Church, 920 Eighth Avenue, Lewiston welcomes its new “interim” pastor this month. Rev. Alan Daugherty and his wife, Sandra, hail from Spokane, Washington. He has served congregations in California, Wisconsin, North Carolina, and Washington State.
As an interim pastor, Rev. Daugherty will serve the people of Trinity only until they feel ready to call a full time, regular pastor. Part of his task is to assist them in achieving that goal. In the meantime, Pastor Daugherty will preside over Word and Sacrament ministry, and provide direction and resources for the other ministries and programs of the congregation.
Trinity Lutheran is a member congregation of the North American Lutheran Church. As part of the NALC, the congregation subscribes to the Lutheran Confessions and hold that the Bible is a gift of God. Specifically, this gift is the Word of God, composed of Law and Gospel. As the Word of God, the Bible is the final authority on all matters of faith and life. The ministries of Trinity Lutheran reflect this biblical authority.
Pastor Daugherty hopes that one goal of Trinity Lutheran for the coming months will be a broader and more visible presence in and for the Lewis and Clark Valley.
We invite all people to join us every Sunday at 9 AM and experience for yourselves the Grace of God and the hospitality of a loving congregation.
